PennREN Community Update - Moving to Targeted Notifications

Dear Valued KINBER Customer,

As part of KINBER’s efforts to improve communications to our customers and to reduce “noise” and unnecessary or unwanted emails in your inbox, effective today Friday, January 17, 2020, the KINBER PennREN NOC will be moving to targeted notifications. Many of you are likely aware from PennREN Technical User Group meeting discussions that KINBER has planned for this important change in our overall communications and notifications to our customers for some time now. This change is based on feedback we have received from customers that they would like the ability to not receive all messages from KINBER's PennREN NOC. Only targeted notifications will now be sent to directly impacted customers for any maintenance and outage notifications.

As part of this process KINBER worked over the past several months to accomplish a full audit of all customer records to ensure that customers are receiving the new targeted notifications appropriately. We appreciate that so many of you took the time to update your records on file at the KINBER PennREN NOC. If you do not believe that your records have been recently updated or you need to make a change at any time to the primary, secondary, and tertiary contact information on file, you can send update requests at any time to noc at pennren.net.


All customers can view updated maintenance and outage notifications on KINBER’s PennREN NOC website 24x7x365 at https://noc.pennren.net/.


Moving to targeted notifications is just one of many changes KINBER is implementing in the months ahead as part of our ongoing efforts to serve you, our valued customers, better. And as always, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me with your suggestions and input.
